Meet & Learn: Parks & Water

Join me for July's Meet & Learn as we explore the parks, trails, open spaces, water systems, and infrastructure that help shape daily life in Arvada.

Meet & Learn is built aroundthe idea that local government should feel approachable. These events create space for residents, City staff, and elected officials to come together for an open conversation, ask questions, share perspectives, and learn from one another.

This isn't a presentation or a lecture. It's a community conversation. My role as your Councilmember is to facilitate the discussion, ask questions, and create opportunities for connection. The goal for myself and those that I collaborate with for the event is to listen more than we lecture and learn more than we teach.

Together, we'll explore topics such as:

• Parks, trails, and open space in Arvada
• Water supply, conservation, and drought response
• The infrastructure that supports our community every day
• Recreation, connectivity, and quality of life
• The behind the scenes work that keeps Arvada running

Whether you're passionate about parks, curious about where our water comes from, interested in conservation, or simply want to better understand how these systems work together, this conversation is for you.

Bring your questions, your experiences, and your curiosity. Your perspective helps shape the conversation.

My hope is that you'll leave with a better understanding of how these systems work, a greater appreciation for the people behind them, and the confidence to engage with your local government in the future.
