CHB Lafayette is excited to host author Ashleigh D’Aunoy for a meet and greet from 3-5 p.m. on Jan. 10.
Ashleigh, the director of enrichment, innovation and talent development at Episcopal School of Acadiana, will chat about her book *Strengths of Dyscalculia: Learning from the Lived Experiences of Twice Exceptional Adults*. She uses her firsthand research conducted for her dissertation to write this book about dyscalculia, a learning disorder that affects math skills and understanding. The book is filled with actionable strategies to foster psychological safety, reduce math anxiety, and nurture strengths alongside addressing challenges.
