JASSW is pleased to offer a special opportunity to meet Katsura Sunshine before his live rakugo performance in Seattle.
Katsura Sunshine is an internationally acclaimed rakugo storyteller who brings the 400-year-old Japanese art of comic storytelling to audiences around the world in English. Before his Seattle performance, join us for an informal meet-and-greet at the historic Panama Hotel and Tea House in Seattle’s Japantown.
This casual gathering is a wonderful chance to connect with Katsura Sunshine, learn more about rakugo, and enjoy time with fellow JASSW community members before the evening performance.
Registration is free, but space is limited. Panama Hotel and Tea House is generously providing its community lounge space for this event at no cost. To show our appreciation, attendees are encouraged to purchase tea, coffee, or other drinks from the venue during the gathering.
