Meet & Greet

Thinking about joining a chess club but not sure where to start? Come meet us!
We're hosting a casual Meet & Greet where you can get to know other local chess enthusiasts, play a few friendly games, and help shape the future of the club. This is a come-and-go event, so feel free to stop by whenever it's convenient and stay as long as you'd like.
Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Children are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult.
A common chess club tradition is "BYOB" (Bring Your Own Board). If you have a chess set, we encourage you to bring a standard tournament-style board and pieces. A popular and affordable option is the House of Staunton Tournament Set, but there is absolutely no need to purchase a set just to attend. We'll have boards available for anyone who needs one.
We're excited to meet fellow chess players from around the community and hope to see a great turnout. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just curious about the club, we'd love to meet you!
