Have you been looking for a community that loves to discover the city and its nature, whilst taking on all sorts of creative activities? Come and share a walk with us, foraging for connections, as we uncover the collective inspiration for a caring community.

meet & connect: Wandering in Winter

This is a relaxed coastal walk for meeting new people, reconnecting with familiar faces, and enjoying the winter fresh air in good company. 🌬️

🌊We’ll walk along the coast at an unhurried pace, letting conversation ebb and flow naturally, sometimes walking side by side, sometimes pausing to take in the winter light, sea air, and changing weather.

☕️ Along the walk, we’ll pass a local bakery, opportunities for getting an ice-cream if you feel like it, and finish at the Rendevous Cafe to warm up and continue our conversations. 🥐

You’re very welcome to come on your own (many people do) or bring a friend, family, or your pet. This is a community-minded, low-key space where it’s easy to dip into conversation, wander alongside someone new, or simply enjoy being out together.

• ⛵ Enjoying the coast in its quieter winter mood
• 🚶 Easy movement, shared warmth, and good company

Meet up point: Whitley Bay Metro Station (Station Square side)

Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate layers 🧣.
Food and drinks are optional and can be purchased individually.
