MedTech Commercialisation Bootcamp for EMCRs (2-Day Workshop)

Calling all early- and mid-career researchers and clinicians interested in the development of health technologies – this is not your ordinary workshop!  

Taking academic research through the commercialisation pathway requires a diverse skillset beyond research. In this workshop, you'll be guided by experienced facilitators to practice a range of skills, helping you transform from a researcher into an entrepreneur and project leader.  

Guided by the facilitators and working in groups, you will practice how to:  

• transform a problem into an impactful solution 

• validate that you are solving a ‘real’ problem 

• develop an effective team and project timeline 

• consider commercial feasibility 

• build new collaborative partnerships 

• work on your own project or explore other project ideas

• Location: Room 341, Faculty of Arts and Education, 12 Symonds Street, Grafton, Auckland 1010. 

• Cost: $75.00 (incl. GST and booking fee). Catering provided. 

• By registering for this workshop, you confirm your availability to attend all scheduled sessions in person: Day 1 workshop (9 am – 5 pm), networking event (5 pm – 6 pm), and Day 2 workshop (9 am – 4 pm).
