From May - August 2024 Fountain House Gallery artists and the greater New York City community are invited to participate in Meditations on Medication: The Pill Bottle Project a series of site-specific installations constructed entirely of (empty) orange prescription bottles. Conceived of by Fountain House Gallery artist Alyson Vega the project aims to generate conversation around medication routine recycling plastic waste insurance accessibility and more.

Get Involved

If you'd like to get involved you can stop by Nolan Park #8B on Governors Island to help construct help us canvas local pharmacies for donations or drop off your empty prescription bottles at one of our three designated drop-off spots:
