About this Event
In the midst of busy lives and constant demands, finding time to slow down can feel difficult. This half-day course offers an ideal opportunity to pause, breathe, and reconnect with a sense of inner calm and clarity. You’ll also discover how meditation can help you relate to painful or challenging feelings in a healthier way—developing inner resilience, kindness, and emotional balance rather than feeling overwhelmed by them.
Guided by Buddhist nun Kelsang Oden, this course introduces easy, practical meditation techniques that anyone can use—no previous experience needed. Through clear guidance and short, effective meditations, you will learn how to let go of stress, quiet mental busyness, and cultivate a peaceful, positive state of mind.
Held in Canterbury, this half-day course provides a supportive and peaceful environment where you can relax, reflect, meet like-minded people, and gain practical tools to carry a sense of wellbeing into everyday life.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you are new to meditation or simply looking to refresh your practice, this course offers a simple and enjoyable way to experience the benefits of meditation.
