Step into your essence and explore the Self through meditation. Join us for a Meditation Retreat led by Paul and Naomi in beautiful McCall, Idaho. We will be gathering at a private retreat center off the beaten path immersed within the serenity of nature. Enjoy daily meditations, discussions on philosophy, yoga, nature hikes, huckleberry picking, healthy and delicious vegetarian meals and sauna.
The intention for the retreat is to provide the rare opportunity for students to immerse in meditation in order to witness our true nature in a busy world. Students will be invited to explore their innate capacity to broaden consciousness with silence and meditation as the main tools to witness much more than who we take ourselves to be. Meditations will be followed by short lectures on meditation and how we can create an inner state that can become our outer reality. There will also be creative workshops and a service project at the retreat center planting flowers, splitting logs and other ways to lend a hand.
The retreat will begin with an orientation, meditation and group dinner on Thursday evening. The retreat will have designated silent times 8PM - 1PM. Students will have the option of remaining in silence or having quiet conversations. Students will have ample time to immerse in nature throughout the retreat with guided hikes, river plunges and huckleberry picking.
Students are encouraged to sign up whether you're new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner. We will have meditation cushions, chairs and other props for comfort. All meals, snacks, and activities are included in the retreat. Students are asked to bring their own bedding as the retreat center water system operates from a well.
