About this Event
Kids can come learn how to meditate and explore basic Buddhist concepts that can assist them with the development of important life skills, like empathy, confidence, self control and respect for others.
In this series we’ll learn about Buddha’s good qualities and how we can become more like Buddha! Kids can explore the extraordinary potential they have to be happy, peaceful and loving. Just by following Buddha’s amazing example, we can gradually improve all our positive qualities!
February 4: Calm & Safe, Inside & Out
February 11: Kindness Is Like a Spiderweb
February 18: Who Is More Important - You or Me?
February 25: Be Nice to Yourself & Others
Each class will include a fun, short lesson about the theme of the week, an interactive activity, and a brief guided meditation. Open to children ages 4-12, no previous experience is required! Everyone is welcome.
Please note: for your first class, we ask that children arrive several minutes early, and it is our policy that adult guardians must stay at the Center if not attending (separate adult registration required).
