About this Event

Learn how to guide MINDFULNESS MEDITATION in a simple and science-based way. I have distilled 20 years of experience and training into the most essential aspects to begin guiding others.

The program is for people who already meditate and have regular meditation practice. If you now want to start guiding others around you, this training is for you.

This program suits all backgrounds and I consider it ideal for those who work as Coaches, Therapists, or Team Leaders. I have taught meditation and breathing practices in coaching, therapeutic and corporate contexts. I would love to share my experience and empower you to help others in even better ways.

WHAT KIND OF MEDITATION

You will learn to guide MINDFULNESS OR SECULAR meditation with an awareness on the breath. The scientific focus makes the practice more inclusive. Regardless of belief or culture.

We will have a broad view at other meditation practices to understand their similarities and differences. My background includes Zen, Buddhist Meditation, Vipassana, Yogic Meditation, Mantra, Shamanic Journey, and Dance Meditation, and Google's Search Inside Yourself Mindfulness & Emotional Intelligence training.


CONTENT

The classes include basic theory, meditation practice, class feedback, Q&A's. The program will also include resources to read or watch before, during, and after the program. Each Module consists of a 2-hour segment.


Module 1: Fundamentals of Guiding Mindfulness Meditation.

We’ll review some of the science-based benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation. We will learn how to explain the breath awareness meditation process. Also, learn the core principles when guiding others.


Module 2: Body awareness Meditation.

We'll work with a relaxing meditation known as the Body Scan. We will learn it’s neurological benefits and how to guide it. We will discuss several meditation styles and modalities.


Module 3: Breath Meditation Part 1.

After learning to relax the body, we will go a level deeper and work with the breath. Breath awareness is a great way to calm the mind and help people out of anxiety. Breathing can influence the nervous system and the chemical balance in the body.


Module 4: Awareness & Breath Meditation Part 2

We will go deeper and start exploring the idea of awareness. We will learn to bring awareness to more subtle aspects of the breathing process as a tool to focus the mind.


FOR WHOM IS THIS

Anyone who wants to expand and deepen their relationship with meditation. It doesn't matter if you still consider yourself a beginner. But, it does matter that you consider yourself a regular meditator.

TIME INVESTMENT

We will divide de modules between 2 days. This way you will have time to digest the information, practice, and come up with questions. Saturday Morning and Sunday afternoon.

ONLINE ALTERNATIVE

There is an online alternative to this in-person course. It consists of:

1/ A recording of the previous live-online course including all 4 modules. It also includes a recording of the group discussion and Q&A.

2/ Reference material or resource bundle. This includes 3rd party videos and articles that go deeper into the topics covered.

3/ The course includes a 60 min call to give live feedback on the student's performance in guiding meditation (the final assignment ). Also, the call is an opportunity to clarify

4/ The course include inclusion in a whatsapp group with past students so you can practice and continue gaining confidence in your teaching skills.

The online course is 175 EUR per person and you can start on your own time. You must complete the course (hand in your final assignment) within 2 months of starting.
