Create your own patterns, pictures or abstract creation using different paper and colourful art materials.Join local artist Eden for a 2hr session for adults, all about slowing down and taking care of yourself.
The session starts with a mindfulness meditation for 10-15 minutes. This is always optional and you can choose to just sit and listen if you’d prefer. Please check the safety information below.
We will then explore a simple, mindful creative activity together, where the focus is the doing, rather than putting pressure on an outcome.

This session includes an optional mindfulness meditation to help you relax. You can always choose to just listen rather than take part.
It will last around 10-15 minutes. Whilst mindfulness meditation is generally a very safe practice, there are some contraindications:
As we may be focussing on the breath, if you have asthma or a serious breathing difficulty, please have a fully charged inhaler with you.
As relaxation can trigger epileptic seizures, if you have epilepsy that is not controlled by medication, please seek your doctor’s permission before joining.

A bit about Eden
Eden is an artist facilitator and works across Oxfordshire with groups of all ages. Her art sessions are all about taking time out for ourselves and looking after our wellbeing, rather than putting too much pressure on the final product.
