About this Event
This tour gives people the chance to explore the Buda Castle and palace area and learn about its early history.
-Learn about how taxes were raised.
-Discover the location and contents of the former marketplaces.
-See the remains of many medieval buildings and beautiful windows.
-Explore hidden doorways and courtyards.
-Hear of how Tamas Bakocz the archbishop of Esztergom read the letter from the Pope which instructed the people of Hungary to join the upcoming crusades against the Ottomans.
-Enjoy the stunning views from the castle district.
The tour will lead by our licensed native Hungarian guide Sabi.

Meeting Place: On Bécsikapu tér Budapest, 1014 - next to Vienna Gate at the Buda Castle.

Directions: Bus 16 and get off at the bus stop Becsi Kapu. Otherwise, it is a 12 min walk from Szell Kalmen Metro Station.
