This night, surrounded by a spectrum of luminous colors, will be something very special.
Have you heard of the Northern Lights? It’s when the sun emits strong rays, and when they meet the energetic body of the earth a mesmerizing dance of color amazes all who watch. On this night we invite you to capture lightning in a bottle. Come embody both the light giver and receiver, and play in the luminous space in between.
To bring and sustain you in this magic place you will be led into laughter and joy, medicine music and song, dance and play, and the warmth of the sauna. Do you like the sound of that?

* Before the concert, Anna “Tickle” Tukachinskaya, will get you to loosen up and shake it off with laughter yoga. Get ready to frolic like a child on the playground of the silly and absurd.
* Masin Ouksel, with a voice pure like a mountain stream, sings tales of love, forgiveness, and deep remembrance. He and his cosmic bandmates, Ultra, Stevenson, & Justin, will light up the night with Masin’s original, and well known spirit songs. Their entrancing performance will guide you on a journey of inner peace, profound love, and heartfelt dancing.

* After the concert Dj Juicy J will take the reins, and send this lightship into another dimension. Producing luscious music, live, with real instruments, melodic samples, and hearty beats he will weave a dancescape for you to journey through. Roman will set the space for the Ecstatic Dance by sharing the consent guidelines, and a warm up activation that will support you on your dance journey with other participants.
* Once the sauna is hot and ready you’re invited to come in, and relax. Consent and behavior guidelines will be set for sauna use. Please bring a bathing suit or a towel to cover up. The space has showers to wash up, so bring another towel. There won’t be any towels provided by the space. So maybe bring three if a friend may need one.
* Our potluck will keep us fed through the night. You are invited to nourish yourself at any time. Please bring a veg dish to share. Also please bring your own cup, plate, and spoon. We will have some on hand if you forget. There will be a wash sink and dish soap, and a fridge for cold storage.
* The after hours are reserved for the mystery of creativity. There may be a song circle, bodywork exchange, a secret playshop activation, or a yummy dj set. No one can really know until it happens. Will you stay to find out?

There is free parking along LaSalle Dr. north of Chicago Ave. (1/2 a block north of the studio). There is also free parking on Oak Street, west of LaSalle Drive.
On weekends, the 156 bus does not run, so there is free parking in front of the bus stops, both north and south of Chicago Ave.
There is a parking lot directly behind the studio.

- Masin Gabriel Ouksel
"My mother gave me a guitar when I broke my leg in 7th grade. It was a very serious break requiring 2 surgeries, and inflicting psychological trauma to an active 11 year old. I was told I may not run again. Over the months of video games, depression, and sleeping on the couch, I began to form a relationship with the guitar. Ratchety and slow learning as I was, the steel strings' twangy sound and deep vibration spoke something my thoughts or words could not pronounce. I have never left its side since.
With time I learned to see music as medicine. Medicine music comes from the source of our creation. We are reminded when we hear it of our true nature. A nonjudgmental message that's been spoken to us before, that we can hear whenever we choose to tap in. Medicine music is our birth song. Allow me to share my healing through sound with you, may the musical vibration bring each of us to its place of infinity."

- Ultra-Violet Archer is a singer, songwriter, and soundscapeist from Chicago working with music as a personal and societal medicine. She’s inspired by natural and urban soundscapes, her Celtic and Appalachian roots, and by that specific shade of midwestern blue the sky turns just before sunrise and just after sunset.

- Stevenson Valentor (Mehtab Kirtan) is an innovative musician, teacher, and composer based in Chicago. - Anna Tukachinskaya is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader and conscious movement educator with over a decade of experience facilitating dance and embodiment workshops. She creates playful spaces where participants can drop into their bodies, let go of mental clutter, and express themselves authentically and joyfully.
Laughter Yoga is an uplifting practice that combines intentional laughter, breathing exercises, and playful movements to release endorphins ("feel-good" chemicals), reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of connection. It's also a great aerobic workout!
- Roman Borochin is trained in facilitating guided dance and movement practices. He has studied Kundalini Ecstatic Dance Facilitation, Cuddle Party Foundations of Facilitation, Movement Medicine, & Capacitar International. He is also the founder of Ecstatic Dance Chicago.
For his warm up he will invite participants into exploring the sensations of personal and shared space. He will also share the practice of saying no to shared dance invitations.
