Medicine Pouch Workshop
About this Event
Led by Indigenous knowledge-keepers Kathy Willcuts Garcia and Steven Garcia, this two-hour workshop guides participants through hand-sewing their own medicine pouch and filling it with sacred traditional plants, alongside discussion of the pouches' historical and cultural significance in Indigenous practices. The session closes with a blessing to the land and traditional dance shared by Kathy and Steven.
Materials provided, both event and parking are free.
