Following the Medicine Buddha Empowerment on May 4, we will hold a half day silent retreat with Medicine Buddha Sadhana. This is a special opportunity to engage in Medicine Buddha practice to heal both ourselves and others.

Buddha taught that all physical and mental diseases and their subsequent suffering, are caused by our negative minds. Through connecting to Medicine Buddha and through receiving his powerful blessings, we can weaken and eventually abandon these negative minds, the source of all our suffering. By relying sincerely on Medicine Buddha we can experience the pure nature of our mind and heal ourselves of these inner diseases and give us the ability to help others do the same.

Through engaging in the practice of Medicine Buddha sincerely and purely we can heal our source of our suffering and problems and help those around us heal theirs.

This retreat will be a silent retreat in the afternoon, to enable us to engage deeply in the practice. Come and spend an afternoon of healing with us by engaging in the practice of Medicine Buddha. It is helpful for those who attend the retreat to have received the empowerment of Medicine Buddha. However, everyone is welcome to attend regardless of background or previous experience.
