MEDICINAL HERB WALK. LATE SUMMER MEDICINES FORAGING

In some traditions there's the belief that medicinal plants grow where the local fauna needs them to be (this includes human too!). Join us on an educational adventure through the parks, woodlands and glades of Bristol to meet some of the most powerful medicinal herbs growing on British soil. You will learn:

• Basic knowledge of Western herbalism
• How to identify certain species of medicinal herbs and fungi
• How to pick, process and use the herbs encountered
• Folklore and myths 

WHAT TO BRING AND HOW TO PREPARE:

• Hiking boots (we will be walking a fair bit!)
• Foraging baskets/bags
• Umbrella and raincoat (you never know)
• Water
• Snacks
