The Healthcare we need is just a pen stroke away. Let's make sure our officials know we want Universal Single Payer via Medicare For All and we want it now. Gather at the corner of Ala Moana and Atkinson with signs for a sign wave.
Each person is invited to make a personal video on their own phone via a live stream and tag their senator and representative with their message.
Each of us can make this 30 second to a couple minutes video on the spot, tag our official, and post on our FB or insta whatever you use.
Can we get 100 videos made and posted at this rally?
Note: Also on July 24 the Democratic Party of Hawaii will discuss whether or not to allow the DPH Health Committee to become a Caucus. So, we can also tag relevant members of the DPH party with our thoughts about whether or not the Dem Party of Hawaii should support Medicare For All.
Yes a state based incremental path towards components of virtual single payer is within reach and we should demand that Gov Ige cease opposing the Universal Healthcare mission of the Hawaii Health Authority, aka, HRS322H HHA.
At 11 am, those who wish are welcome to walk with signs to Duke Kahanamoku Statue, where we can pause for a final sign wave. Along the way we can pass out M4A brochures to tourists and take photos with them.
