About this Event

Join us in celebrating 35 years of Mechanical Engineering excellence. You are invited to join us on campus October 24 from 5 - 8 p.m. where we will reflect on our success and reconnect with each other while we look forward to the future.

Our anniversary celebration will be an evening to remember when our alumni, faculty and current student organization members gather to reminisce about our department’s history, shared experiences, and achievements as we honor the legacy of our program.

With more than 2,000 Mechanical and Mechatronics degreed alumni, the SIUE School of Engineering has powered a generation of problem-solving professionals and we have only just begun! Our cocktail reception will feature a host bar, appetizers, guest speakers, student organization and competition team displays, and optional tours of our facilities. Your presence will make this milestone truly special.

Event sponsorships are needed and greatly appreciated to cover anniversary event related expenses. Net event proceeds will benefit Mechanical and Mechatronics student organization and competition team related expenses. Our student organizations include: ASME, Cougar Rockets, SIUE Drone Club, Cougar BAJA Team, Cougar Formula SAE Team, Cougar Solar Car Club, ARC and ASHRAE.
