MEC Intro to Entrepreneurship
About this Event
Curious about startups but not sure where to begin? The MEC Intro to Entrepreneurship workshop is a fast-paced, interactive session introducing University of Melbourne students to how founders think, solve problems and turn ideas into action.
Working in small teams, participants will explore the foundations of early-stage entrepreneurship by identifying real-world problems, understanding user needs and developing practical solutions worth pitching. Through hands-on activities, you will experience the creative thinking, collaboration and problem-solving skills that underpin successful ventures.
To make it easy to attend, the workshop will be delivered across three one-hour sessions. Simply register for the session (under ticket type) that best suits your schedule:
- Session 1: 11.00am – 12.00pm
- Session 2: 12.30pm – 1.30pm
- Session 3: 2.00pm – 3.00pm
No business background, startup idea or prior experience is required. Whether exploring entrepreneurship for the first time or building innovation skills for the future, this workshop helps uncover what’s possible.
The session will also introduce the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre’s programs, events and pathways that can support you on an ongoing entrepreneurial journey.
