Description
Dal (dried beans, lentils, peas, and legumes) and rice are the perfect soulmates. They not only make a delicious pairing but they form a completely balanced and nutritious meal. You'll learn to make a popular street food from Moradabad served with a fresh, green chutney; a twist on a traditional dessert sweetened with dates instead of refined sugar; and a refreshing beverage featuring toasted fennel seeds and cardamom. As Sapna introduces you to each dish and shows you how to make it, you'll sit back, relax, and enjoy a meatless meal that is not only good, but good for you.
For ages 13 & up. Attendees not yet 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket. Tickets are priced per person. Each attendee must purchase a ticket.
Dal Chawal: 85 Vegetarian Indian Recipes Combining the Power of Dal & Rice by Sapna Punjabi will be available for sale on the night of class. Sapna will personalize copies purchased at Central Market.
