Welcome to the Meat in the Arts Conference!
The Studies of Meat in the Arts and Culture reading group (StOMAC) invites all interested parties to the University of Glasgow's Advanced Research Centre on the 3rd of July 2024 to take part in a nuanced and exciting exploration of meat's roles and representations in the arts.
This event will feature curated panels of presenters sharing their research, an author reading from Elle Nash, and a keynote from Dr Robert R. McKay. A plant-based lunch will be provided for attendees in person. For a full schedule of the day's events, please see the conference programme here.
