Meanwhile...Back to the Ranch return to Gingers Vintage Lounge Bar with their unique take on classic songs from a wide range of genres all combined under the banner of Western Swing. In the 1930s and 40s, bands from the southwestern states of the USA would take the popular songs of the day and swing them using instruments such as guitars, fiddles, upright basses etc. In that same spirit, Meanwhile...Back At The Ranch will play some classic Western Swing tunes, but also a small selection of more contemporary material re-imagined in a Western Swing style. We will draw on genres such as swing, blues, jazz, country, gypsy jazz, hillbilly boogie, but we are also hoping we can make you smile with some unexpected choices.
