Introducing Meandering Markets: A Quirky Wonderland of Local TreasuresIf you’ve ever wished you could stroll through a vibrant, local market while sipping your morning coffee or tucking into a hearty pub breakfast—now’s your chance.
We’re thrilled to introduce the Meandering Markets, launching Saturday, August 30th at the Port Admiral Hotel. This monthly pop-up market transforms our Commercial Road frontage and upstairs balcony into a whimsical mix of curious, creative, and colourful offerings—where local makers, collectors, and creators take centre stage.
🪴 In partnership with Garden Goodness, our green-thumbed friends behind Plants at the Pub, this new experience blends lush greenery, handmade wares, vintage oddities, and surprise delights into one community-centred celebration of all things eclectic and unexpected.
🌿 What to Expect
From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, visitors can:
Wander among plant stalls, artisan crafts, vintage finds, herbal remedies, and homegrown produce
Enjoy breakfast and coffee from the Port Admiral kitchen from 8:30 AM
Immerse themselves in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere full of life, laughter, and local love
Whether you’re after a potted succulent, a handmade gift, or just want to soak up the Port’s creative energy, this is the place to be.
