✔️What is Meals on Onewheels:This project focuses on increasing community involvement by recruiting riders & volunteers for distribution efforts & local businesses for support to provide nutritious meals to the homeless population of Orange County, California. What sets the Orange County chapter apart is how we incorporate the distribution of harm reduction supplies in all of our bags to address the specific needs of people who use drugs (PWUD), & other underserved communities. Join us Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at our community outreach event & support the OC chapter of the nationwide movement delivering meals on Onewheels & PEV's ??

Saturday, May 11th, 2024
10:00am Meet & Greet
10:30am Bag Prep
11am Bag Distribution Begins (Keep in mind street distribution will be by foot ? or your Onewheel, or other personal vehicle ?)
12:30pm Clean Up
12:45-2:00pm Charge Up
2:00pm Group Ride (More Info Coming Soon)

✔️What to Expect:
We are providing approximately 200 nutritional meals, water, hygiene items, & harm reduction supplies such as Narcan Nasal Spray to our unhoused, low income families & individuals in our local Orange County community. We'll have raffles with gear provided by Future Motion & more, & connect with riders of Onewheels & other personal electric vehicles (PEV). *ALL Ages are Welcome to Volunteer* If you would like to volunteer please RSVP below ??

✔️How it Works:
Volunteers & riders will prepare food & assemble bags during the first hour. Next, riders will pick-up bag to distribute in a *suggested* area, & can return to pick-up additional bags as needed until all of our supplies have been given to those in need.
✔️No Onewheel? No Problem!
If you don't own a Onewheel or other PEV you can still get involved by offering support during meal prep, & street distribution can be on foot ? or your Onewheel, or other personal vehicle ?
✔️Fun Stuff:
Join us Saturday, May 11th, 2024 where we'll have raffles for riders/volunteers to take home gear provided by Future Motion™, gifts from local businesses, & more TBA!
