About this Event
Come join us on campus for a hands-on, interactive Meal Prep Workshop designed to help students save money on groceries and feel more confident in the kitchen.
This free workshop is part of the Affordable Meals Campaign, sponsored by Manitoba Oat Growers Association in partnership with Real Life Nutrition.
Meal prepping is one of the easiest ways to stretch your food budget, reduce food waste, and make busy weeks feel less stressful. In this session, you’ll learn practical, realistic meal prep strategies that actually work for student life - no fancy equipment or complicated recipes required. For example, we'll show you how using oats (an affordable pantry staple) can be used to add nutrition while saving money.
Expect a mix of fun activities, and plenty of tips you can put to use right away, whether you’re brand new to cooking or already comfortable in the kitchen.
