Meadow Creation & Management EWC 2806

A day course considering meadows: their creation, restoration and on-going management to maximise their benefit for wildlife diversity. In the beautiful surroundings of the meadows at Moat House, you will have the chance to think about your own land, assess its wildlife value, how you can manage it successfully and what resources might help.

Under the expert guidance of Marie Lagerberg, you will see how the different methods of meadow creation have been put into practice at Moat House to create native wildflower meadows that provide a vitally important food source and habitat for pollinator species.

Please bring:

a packed lunch,

stout footwear,

weather-appropriate clothing,

notepad and pen,

a camera/binoculars if you wish.
