Mead is making a comeback!
This ancient ‘honey wine’ is popping up at tasting events and festivals around the world, giving both longtime enthusiasts and curious first timers a chance to explore its incredible variety of flavours.
From crisp, dry meads to sweet, fruity, or spiced blends, there is a style to suit every palate.
But what really makes mead so special?
Unlike beer or wine, its base ingredient is honey, which means it carries unique notes depending on the type of honey used. From floral and herbal to even earthy undertones, layered with fruits, spices, or herbs for extra depth.

Over the course of the evening you will sample 8 different meads, including a Christmas mead, which has won an international gold award this year and is even more lovely when served warm. 🎄🥃
