This weekend immersion is an opportunity to explore the edge of relating. The meeting between Me and You. We will be exploring how to show up more fully with our experience and how to be in the unknown with someone else.

Vision
How do we come into relationship? That is the theme of this Circling & Surrendered Leadership weekend. The attainment that we are looking for is how to be with ourselves and the other at the same time. We will be practicing how to show up, listen and be in emergence (the shared unknown) with someone else or the group.
We want to explore how we can ourselves become better at inviting in the connection we long for, rather than waiting for it to “magically happen”. We can step more into life by becoming more present to our own experience and truth and by sharing it with those around us, trusting that they are able and willing to receive us.
We will also be playing with the idea of difference vs. sameness. Where can we find alignment with each other and where do we find a difference, that creates energy (or conflict) in the relationship. This includes working with boundaries.

This weekend will be centered around exploring the edges between me and you through Relational Presencing Practices, Surrendered Leadership and Embodiment.
- What are relational presencing practices
With relational presencing practices we are pointing to practices and leadership approaches such as Circling, Relatefulness and Transformational Connection. These practices are great for getting more in touch with our present moment experience together with someone else. It typically involves sharing our thoughts, feelings or bodily sensations as they are happening and then seeing how it impacts the people around us.
- What is Surrendered Leadership?
One way of understanding Surrendered Leadership is that it is an opportunity to see your own Karma in action. You get to see how the way you are holding yourself in the world impacts others and thus feeds back to become your experience of the world. More concretely Surrendered Leadership is a group practice where you are invited to surrender/welcome whatever is happening for you in the moment and lead yourself from there.
- What is embodiment?
Embodiment points to actually being there, in your body, taking up as much space as you do with whatever is going on for you. The path to more embodiment typically is a process of discovery where we start noticing all the ways in which we are holding ourselves back, suppressing emotions or not trusting that we are welcome.

What to expect
Intro evening: November 7th from 18.00-21.00
The intro evening is meant as an introduction to the weekend, but everyone is welcome to participate. The evening will be focused on exercises and practices that brings us into contact with ourselves and the other.
Weekend immersion: November 8-9th from 10.00-18.00
On the weekend immersion we will explore how we relate through various relational presencing practices, embodiment exercises and Surrendered leadership.

Some of the themes that almost always come up during a weekend like this are:
Exploring the edges (the boundary) between yourself and the other.
- Being with the “maybe” of yourself or the other.
- Exploring independence (separation) and interdependence (wholeness/togetherness) and the qualities inherent to each perspective.
- Being in the unknown together.
We will be training the muscles of:
- Staying connected to your present moment experience.
- Allowing yourself to be impacted by others and sharing that impact.
- Generously sharing yourself in service of connection.
- Deeply listening to the experience of others.
- Meeting others from a place of love.
- Bringing presence and truth into connection without being attached to the outcome.

Venue
30 min with a direct bus from the train station in Aarhus, we will enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings and comfortable wooden event space at what used to be a monastery 500 years ago, and is now a living collective and community for personal and spiritual development. It’s called Hjerteland (Heart Land) and is connected to Hjerterum (Heart Space) in the center of Aarhus.

Peter Munthe-Kaas
I am a Copenhagen based researcher, body therapist, coach and workshop facilitator. I am interested in practices that support me and others in relating and listening better and believe that the ability to relate to myself, others, society and nature is key to living a happy life in service of what is good in the world.
On this weekend Peter will be assisted by a team of local leaders from Aarhus.
