Some dances will be slightly love-themed, with others not at all! It's perfect for those who may not want to celebrate Valentine's Day in the traditional way. The night will feature our four principal dancers-Emily Craig, Emily Keisler, Annika Kroeker, and Maya Radike-and will begin with an informative and entertaining up-close demonstration of the Martha Graham Technique, a modern dance technique used to train the body for much of the movement you'll see in our dances.The main performance showcases several dances set to a variety of music by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, The Irrepressibles, Francis and The Lights, Scriabin, Bach, and even a premiere choreographed by Maya Radike to a hit from the musical Grease! There's something for everyone.
