MCRD San Diego Pre-Separation/Transition Counseling

On behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD), welcome to the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Pre-separation/Transition Counseling session. THANK YOU for your Service to the Nation. As a result of your dedication and commitment, you have earned various benefits and services, which will be explained to you during the session. This session provides an overview of benefits you may have earned and provide information on services and programs that will assist you with your transition to civilian life.

WRR members: Completion of MOODLE "MCRDSD TRS Intake 2021" curriculum is required in order to enroll into the pre-separation/transition counseling.

Local Commands: The following items must be completed and confirmed by your UTC before enrolling into the pre-separation/transition counseling.

-Initiated and signed eForm DD2648

- Completed Self-Assessment/Individual Transition Plan

- Registered to eBenefits Premium Dashboard

- Retrieved a copy of Unofficial Joint Service Transcript (JST)

- Retrieved a copy of Verification of Military Experience (VMET)

- Retrieved a copy of O*Net Interest Profiler

**Please bring a copy of eForm DD2648, Self-Assessment, and a screen shot of eBenefits.

CONFIRMATION OF ENROLLMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON THE COMPLETION OF PREREQUISITE ITEMS.
