Hosted by: McMaster Indigenous Research Institute (MIRI), The FEAST Centre for Indigenous STBBI Research, Indigenous Health Learning Lodge (IHLL), Indigenous Studies Department, Indigenous Student Services, University Advancement, Office of Community Engagement, McMaster Indigenous Health Movement.

Invitation to Present

We would like to invite Indigenous research presentation proposals from faculty, staff and students across all faculties at McMaster University. Non-Indigenous researchers are also welcome to present research done in partnership with or focused on Indigenous Peoples/topics. Please note that Indigenous presenters will be prioritized.

Indigenous undergraduate and graduate students from all areas of study are encouraged to apply to present. MIRI will be offering a workshop for students on presenting at conferences prior to Indigenous Research Day (Date TBA).

The registration deadline for those who would like to submit research presentation proposals is October 3, 2025 11:59PM.

Each selected presenter/panelist will have 20 minutes for their presentation.

The Indigenous Research Day committee will review all proposals and confirm with selected presenters by October 13, 2025.
