McKinley Luncheon

Join the Black Women Lawyers Association of Northern California for our annual Honorable Patricia Ann McKinley Memorial Luncheon — a gathering that celebrates legacy, leadership, and excellence in our community.

This elegant afternoon tea honors the life and trailblazing career of The Honorable Patricia Ann McKinley, the first African-American woman appointed to the Bay Municipal Court by Governor Jerry Brown in 1982. At just 33, Judge McKinley was the youngest ever to serve on the court, and she quickly rose to become its Presiding Judge. Though her life was tragically cut short, her legacy of brilliance, resilience, and service continues to inspire generations of Black women lawyers.
