It is time once again for the Morrison County Historical Society’s annual business meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Holy Family Parish Hall in Belle Prairie, and will feature guest speaker Nikki Rajala.
This event is open to the public and is a free-will donation, which supports the museum and its continued operations. MCHS will provide refreshments. There will be a board meeting following the presentation.
Nikki Rajala pays homage to her French-Canadian explorer ancestry through her trio of historical fiction novels about voyageurs living throughout Minnesota and Canada. With years of research for her writing and family history, she will present on the untold stories of Native American women and their significance to the fur trade.
