McGill Summer Open 2026

On behalf of the McGill Debating Union, we are pleased to invite you to the McGill 2026 Summer Open! The following is important information regarding the tournament:
Date: August 8th - 9th, 2026
Location: Online, on Discord
Registration fee: 100 per team, or 50 per debater (registration waivers available on a needs basis). The early bird discount is active until July 3rd at 11:59 PM. Registration before then will be 80 CAD.
Institutional Registration Deadline: July 17th, 9:00 p.m. EST
Team Cap: 4 teams per school, 2 debaters per team, Capped at 60 teams total. Institutions who wish to register more than 4 will have extra teams placed on a waitlist.
