About this Event

Join McClung Museum educators this June as we explore the museum’s fine arts and natural history collections. Children ages 5 through 8 years old are welcome to choose between art and paleontology camp programs.

Rregistration opens March 1,2023

Dino Explorers

Ages 5 to 6 

June 13–16, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day

Explore the museum with us as we learn about dinosaurs! This four-day camp is filled with crafts, activities, and a dino dig excavation. There is scheduled time for snack, but campers must bring their own snack. 

Cost: $ 100 per child

Deadline for registration: June 6

Art Masters

Ages 6 to 8

June 20-23, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  each day

Campers will delve into the diverse fine arts collection at the museum and use it as inspiration for fun art projects. This program has scheduled time for lunch, but campers must bring their own food.

Cost: $120 

Deadline for registration: June 13 

Jurassic Kids

Dates: June 27–29, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  

Ages: 2 to 3 (with caregiver/s)

Cost: $60 

Caregivers join in on the dino fun! This three-day camp includes daily circle time, activities, and crafts all about dinosaurs. Campers and their caregivers attend the camp together. There will be a break for snack each day (campers must bring their own).

Please note that the prices listed do not include Eventbrite's processing fees.

Refund Policy

There will be no refunds for camps unless the museum were to cancel a camp. If the Museum cancels a session you will receive a refund. Please note that the refund will not include processing fees.

Forms

Upon registration, parents will be sent a consent form and medical treatment/release forms, which must be signed and returned prior to the first day of camp. A sample of these forms can be found here. Once you have registered your child/children for camp, you will be sent a confirmation email from the museum with these forms attached.
