MCCD Policy & Advocacy Training - Bemidji, Minnesota

MCCD is expanding our policy and advocacy training to Greater Minnesota in advance of the 2025 legislative session! We hope that we can help bring resources to our partners and peers outside of the metro to help community developers and adjacent fields feel more confident and comfortable participating in the advocacy process without having to drive 3 hours to the Capitol in the middle of winter. As the state legislature gains more capabilities for people to participate in meetings and hearings virtually, we want to help you to feel prepared!

Tentative Agenda:

9:00am -10:00am – Check-in, Networking & Coffee

10:00am -11:30am – Developing an Elevator Pitch & Zoom Testimony Practice

11:30am -12:00pm – Guest Lawmakers

12:00pm -12:30pm – Lunch

*Please note that in the event of bad weather, we will still hold the training over zoom with a modified agenda.
