Devvo is a satirical character created by David Firth and played by Darren Derbyshire who first appeared on fat-pie.com back in 2004 pre dating YouTube. An early pioneer of internet comedy videos he quickly blew up on MySpace. By 2006 he appeared on his own show on Channel 4’s E4 station. As a national phenomenon he changed his name to MC Devvo and embarked on a rap career that saw him tour the UK.
