MBS Education for General Practice Workshop – MELBOURNE 2026
About this Event
Mastering MBS Compliance in the Post-July 2026 Landscape
Business for Doctors Presents our FINAL MBS Workshop for the 2026! Join us for a Two-Day Workshop for General Practitioners, Practice Owners, and Managers
Do you understand what's required to be MBS compliant in 2026?
With the 2025 chronic disease reforms now firmly embedded and the July 2026 Assignment of Benefit modernisation reshaping bulk billing, compliance is more than a box to tick. It's the foundation for delivering preventive, holistic, high-quality patient care while safeguarding your practice's financial integrity.
Our mission is to assist practitioners in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care — minimising out-of-pocket costs for patients and optimising their health outcomes. The landscape has shifted again. . Moving from paper-based consent to digital Assignment of Benefit processes has changed how every bulk-billed claim is captured and lodged.
Join us for this two-day workshop, where expert presenters break down the complexities of Medicare and provide clear, evidence-based guidance on:
✔ Applying the GPCCMP framework (items 965, 967, 92029, 92030) with confidence and accuracy
✔ Transitioning to the modernised Assignment of Benefit process — moving from paper to compliant digital and electronic consent options
✔ Navigating new and amended MBS general medical services items effective 1 July 2026
✔ Strengthening documentation, recording consent correctly, and streamlining daily workflows
✔ Maintaining compliance and avoiding costly, audit-triggering errors
✔ Integrating chronic disease and mental health structures into multidisciplinary care
✔ Exploring multidisciplinary models and emerging AI solutions for clinical and administrative efficiency
Whether you operate a bulk-billing, mixed billing, or private billing model, you'll learn practical strategies to balance accessible care with practice sustainability — without sacrificing your work-life balance.
Why attend?
- Gain clarity on current item numbers, the GPCCMP framework, and the digital AoB requirements
- Protect your revenue by avoiding compliance errors and capturing every legitimate claim correctly
- Unlock hidden value to support your practice's long-term viability under the updated fee structure
- Equip yourself with tools that enhance clinical excellence and reduce administrative burden
The reforms of 2025 are now the standard. The changes of July 2026 are already in effect. The practitioners who thrive are those who understand both — and apply them with precision.
You will leave this workshop empowered, with renewed confidence, so your focus can stay exactly where it belongs: on patient care.
