1) Attend Practice Sessions at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro on the following Sundays from 8:30 AM - 10:15 AM:

August 2024: 08/25 - San Pedro.

October 2024: Team Shirt distribution takes place on 10/05 in Irwindale or 10/19 in San Diego. For those unable to attend either dates to support your fellow scouts competing in the races, you will receive your team shirt on 12/01.

December 2024: 12/01 - San Pedro.

1) Merit Badge Sessions on 08/25 in San Pedro and 12/01 in San Pedro.

2) JASON AND THE DRAGONAUTS TEAM SHIRT.

NOTES - PLEASE READ:

1) SUNDAY AUGUST 25 Schedule:

08:00 AM - Come in attire that can get wet and sandy to Check In for Dragon Boat Paddling and give your completed Dragonauts Crew 333 Activity Waiver to Merit Badge Counselor:

10:30 AM - Change to running attire for personal fitness baseline check:

• Be prepared to run 1-mile, complete 1-minute of push-ups, 1-minute of sit-ups, 1-minute of jumping jacks, and sit-and-reach stretches.
• Show Merit Badge Counselor your exercise plan for approval.
• Show Merit Badge Counselor your 3-day log of meals. Use either (a) August 21-23 or (b) August 22-24.
• Show Merit Badge Counselor your current BSA Health Form ABC and your current dentist note.
• Bring scoutmaster-signed blue card.
• Bring water bottle for hydration.

2) SATURDAY OCTOBER Schedule - optional - to support and cheer on the world's only eagle-scout led dragon boat racing team at either (a) the LA County Dragon Boat Festival in Irwindale on October 5, or (b) the San Diego International Dragon Boat Festival on October 19.

3) SUNDAY DECEMBER 1 Schedule:

08:30 AM - Check In for Dragon Boat Paddling.

10:30 AM - Change to running attire for personal fitness final check:

• Be prepared to show improvements for your 1-mile run, 1-minute of push ups, 1-minute of sit-ups, 1-minute of jumping jacks, and sit-and-reach stretches.
• Bring your blue card.
• Bring your 90-day exercise log to show Merit Badge Counselor and to discuss the remaining requirements.

4) THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. EVENT TAKES PLACE AS SCHEDULED AND AS DESCRIBED. If you find yourself unable to attend for whatever reason, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find your own replacement.

Dragonauts Crew 333 is the only Scouting America dragon boat racing venturing crew in the world. Founded by EAGLE SCOUTS from 5 different BSA Councils: Western Los Angeles County Council, Greater Los Angeles Area Council, California Inland Empire Council, Long Beach Area Council, and Las Vegas Area Council in 2021.

Dragonauts Crew 333 usually meets on the FIRST and THIRD SUNDAYS all over Southern California in Lunch-and-Learns between 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
