PROGRAM COST:

Option A is $155.00 per Scout BSA for (a) Jason & the Dragonauts Team Shirt, (b) all competitions listed: Castaic, Echo Park, Irwindale, (c) in person merit badge sessions through October 2023, and (d) Jason & the Dragonauts Team Patch.

Option B is $85.00 per Scout BSA for (a) Jason & the Dragonauts Team Shirt, (b) Team Patch and (c) 1 Merit Badge Session on Race Day,

Option C is $35.00 per Scout/Cub Scout per Competition with 1 Merit Badge/ Nova Award Session on Race Day and Team Patch. No Team Shirt.

Option D is $155.00 PER CUB SCOUT for (a) Jason & the Dragonauts Team Shirt, (b) all competitions listed: Castaic, Echo Park, Irwindale, (c) Nova/Supernova Award sessions through October 2023, and (d) Jason & the Dragonauts Team Patch.

1) No refunds.

2) Travel expenses to and from competitions in Arizona and California not included.

3) Merit Badge Counselor meetings will take place in person during the racing season on race dates.

4) Scouts who practice with LA Harbor Dragon Boat Club at Cabrillo Youth Camp IN SAN PEDRO will have additional merit badge counselor meetings AFTER dragonboat practice on SUNDAYS.

• Youth Registration with LA Harbor Dragon Boat Club is $75.00/year.
• Practice Sessions with LA Harbor Dragon Boat Club is always on Sundays from 8:45 AM - 10:15 AM.

5) Scouts who practice with LA County Dragon Boat Club at Santa Fe Dam IN IRWINDALE will have additional merit badge counselor meetings AFTER dragonboat practice on SATURDAYS.

  • Practice Sessions with LA Harbor Dragon Boat Club is on Saturday and/or Sunday from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

6) What to Bring to RACE: 10 essentials for day on the water + BLUE CARD

7) Each Race costs $35 per person on the roster.

8) The BSA Race Shirt costs $50 each - manufactured by an official BSA licensee.

9) PADDLES AND LIFE VESTS ARE PROVIDED AT EVERY RACE by the race organizers.

10) Paddles and life vests are provided at every practice session by the dragon boat club your scout is registered with.
