TICKETS: https://kavka.be/event/mael-jonas/Maël & Jonas are long-time friends and an artist duo that reached 3rd place in the 2020 season of The Voice of Germany, with Nico Santos as their coach. A lot has happened since then. After the million-streamed final single “Treat You Right” featuring Nico Santos, they released their debut album rocket science in 2023, which entered the German charts at #77. The track “I Swear to God” alone has been streamed over 20 million times on Spotify. Other songs, like “Simp” and “Hey Anna,” also boast over a million streams. Their fanbase continues to grow.
“TWO SPOONS SUGAR” is Maël & Jonas’ second album, released on February 21, 2025.
One would expect the sound to pick up where the previous album left off, but instead, they’ve taken a different approach—returning to personal songwriting, working as a duo, and exploring a new musical direction. Less pop-rock, more indie.
Maël & Jonas: two distinct voices, two friends, and two songwriters who have both matured. Fans have already had the chance to enjoy three singles from the upcoming album TWO SPOONS SUGAR: “Bitterness,” “Lonely Waters,” and “IDEWFILA,” which give a glimpse of what to expect from the second album.
