About this Event
In 1936, as Palestinian villages revolt against British colonial rule, Yusuf navigates between his work in Jerusalem and his rural home, amidst escalating unrest and a pivotal moment for the British Empire.
The film will be followed by a conversation about labour and ‘hot cargo’ with Labour for Palestine GTA.
Important notes:
- Film begins at 7:30, doors open at 7PM, no assigned seating. Ticket holders who arrive after 7:35PM may lose their seats.
- This is a community screening with a projector in a venue that does not have raked seating! Keep an eye out for future screenings of this film in cinemas, with the Toronto Palestine Film Festival.
- If sold out, we will have a rush but ticket availability is not guaranteed and will depend on venue capacity.
