In celebration of Women's History Month, we are excited to offer a safe space where young women can share their voices, feel supported, and be heard. Check out photos and a recap of last year's summit here. You don't want to miss Mayor Brandon M. Scott's InfluenceHER Youth Summit! This year's theme is "EmpowerHer."

PLEASE NOTE: If you are able to attend you MUST stay for the entire event.

All youth ages 13 - 18 are invited to participate in a day filled with:

- Takeaways

- Food and more!

The goals of the summit are to:

1) connect young women to experts that can provide their expertise across a wide range of topics

2) provide skills and tools needed for young women to begin and/or continue their entrepreneurship or career journey

3) provide an opportunity for young women to ask questions and have access to vital information that is typically inaccessible to them from therapists, physicians, city agencies and other professionals

4) encourage youth serving organizations to engage with young women in Baltimore City in an intentional and ongoing way

Background

In 2021, Mayor Scott challenged the Mayor's Office of Children and Family Success to create an annual youth summit and other events that focus on issues important to young people in Baltimore City. These events give Mayor Scott a chance to connect with young people face-to-face and have meaningful conversations. This helps build stronger connections between youth, their peers and community leaders, while meeting them where they are with resources and tools to help them succeed.
