The Maya Baraka Writers Institute 2026 Company proudly presents its Final Showcase on Thursday, July 30, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Talon Center at Coppin State University. Doors open at 5:30 PM.
Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the creativity, growth, and artistry of our young people as they present original works developed throughout the summer. Featuring spoken word poetry, hip-hop, and theatre. This culminating performance highlights the powerful voices and talents of the next generation of artists.
