It’s Star Wars Day – and also Free Comic Book Day! Dress up and join us for a day of fun and fandom.Approximate timeline:
10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.: Free Comic Book Day! FCBD is an event advocating reading and appreciation of the comic book and graphic novel genre. Comics fans of all ages are invited to celebrate Free Comic Book Day with us by picking up a free comic book! Limit 2 comics per person, while supplies last.
10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.: Star Wars movie marathon: Drop in and view the original trilogy.
1-3 p.m.: Crafts: enjoy creating some fun Star Wars-inspired crafts with teaching artist Rachel-Anne Palacios and library staff.
Noon-5:30 p.m.: Character sightings possible! Keep your eyes peeled, and your camera ready, because some special galactic characters may be paying a visit.
