Revolutionize Your Counseling Techniques: Embrace the Brain's True Change Mechanisms

Scott Makin, LMHC

January 12, 2023 – 8:00 – 9:00 am

Join us for a groundbreaking workshop that unveils the transformative power of the neuroscience revolution in therapeutic practices. Discover how Memory Reconsolidation, a pivotal mechanism for change in the brain, can revolutionize your approach to therapy. Discover how Jesus implemented these principles with the Woman at the Well, Peter, and in his teaching, such as the Parable of the Prodigal Son.

In this interactive workshop, you will:

  1. Challenge the Status Quo: Examine the top five change strategies that are rendered ineffective by their reliance on outdated brain models.
  2. Embrace the New Paradigm: Seamlessly integrate the process of Memory Reconsolidation into your therapeutic approach to unlock your clients' potential for transformation.
  3. Refine Your Skills: Identify neuro-relational skills that effectively address and alleviate painful relational experiences.
