Join The Tipi Raisers nonprofit community in Lafayette, CO on May 18th for a cultural presentation, and learn about the Tipi Raiser's mission, upcoming events & volunteer opportunities! Lakota youth will be visiting from Pine Ridge to talk about the historical and present-day significance of the Tatanka (Buffalo) to their culture, and how the Tipi Raisers community can follow their lead in efforts to revitalize buffalo populations. You won't want to miss this special event!Gathering Schedule --
2:00pm-2:30pm: Soft start. Mix and mingle with Tipi Raiser's staff, volunteers and horse herd.
2:30pm - 4:00pm: Lakota youth presentation on the Buffalo and its cultural and spiritual significance
Help us address food insecurity in Native communities by bringing any of the perishable items listed at thetipiraisers.org/food-and-supplies-needed.html to this event.

The Gathering is free and open to all ages. This event is a potluck - feel free to bring a dish to share if you feel so inclined!
At each gathering we collect food and supplies for the Native communities we serve. Throughout May we are also requesting fans and window AC units. Please consider bringing something to contribute!
