?Admission is free at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame thanks to the support of the Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital!
?The NewTown Family Fun Zone will be set up from 5:30-7:30 in Third Street Park! Enjoy a free art activity presented by the 567 Center for Renewal. ARTS & CULTURE
?Bren Powell is Macon Arts Gallery’s featured artist for May 2022. She uses fire, wax, and pigment in a process called Encaustic Painting. Join them for a free reception from 4 - 7 pm.
?Neon Transfusion, an exhibition by Kathryn Skeen, will open at StartUP Studios! The reception starts at 6 pm, and will be followed by Arts After Hours. This month, there will be karaoke!
?Travis Jean Emporium will have live music from James Worsham, and feature art from artist Jen Worsham
?The Grand Opera House is presenting "Broadway Does Soul: A Cabaret." This is an upbeat cabaret-style performance blending Broadway-inspired vocal stylings with the eclectic atmosphere of an intimate lounge show in downtown Macon. Connect with the deep emotions and truths of soul music from local Macon music heritage, classic songs from shows such as Memphis and The Wiz, and the sounds of Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye in this night of soulful tunes. Tickets are $10. Show starts at 6:30pm.

WALKING TOURS
?Ghastly, Ghostly, and as Southern Gothic as it Gets! Join Rock Candy Tours on the Macon Macabre Tour, a ghost, murder, and mayhem Macon history tour focused on downtown's nightlife and businesses. This 1.5-hour easy walking tour starts at Just Tap'd (488 First St.) at 8pm and ends at Parish on Cherry (580 Cherry St.) around 9:30 p.m. The cost of the Macon Macabre Tour is $15 per person and guests are allowed to carry open containers in approved cups purchased from one of Downtown Macon's many restaurants or clubs.
