Celebrate the flowers of May as we drive backroads on Bainbridge Island, then the Kitsap Peninsula, and along Hood Canal for lunch at Hamma Hamma. Our starting point will be the WA State Ferry dock in Seattle catching the 9:35 ferry to Bainbridge Island. Plan to arrive about 30 minutes prior to ferry departure. After the 35 minute ferry ride, we will gather at the parking lot for the Kitsap Bank at 10140 High School Rd NE on Bainbridge. We will hit the road again at 10:30 AM. Plan that a portion will be a dirt road which will give us a cool view we rarely see.
After lunch, we have a 2.5 hour south route to make this a loop back across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (toll) and back up the twisty roads along Browns Point heading north towards Seattle.
What a great way to enjoy our cars, friendships, and NW scenery.
